These week master students in our lab have defended their master’s thesis.

Icía Varela who has coursed the Master in Pharmacology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), defended his master’s thesis on 11th of July. Her master’s thesis was titled: “Expression of BDNF isoforms in the brain of Alzheimer’s disease transgenic mice”.

Furthermore, Oihane Ussia and Carlos Soto who have coursed the Master in Neurosciences at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), defended their master’s thesis on 14th of July.

Oihane Ussia has been working in the “Role of CRTC1 in synaptic morphology during neurodegeneration”, whereas Carlos Soto has been studying the “Mechanisms involved in tau phosphorylation in presenilin conditional double knockout mice”.
